As the Executive Director of AI & GenAI at [SaT GDS], you will spearhead the integration ofleadership role requires a visionary with deep technical expertise in AI/GenAI and a provenhigh-value engagements and deliver scalable, cross-sector solutions.
Your key responsibilities
- Partner with regional practice teams to identify AI-driven opportunities, craft tailored proposals, and winclient engagements.
- Lead client workshops to diagnose pain points, design AI strategies, and articulate ROI-driven usecases (e.g., GenAI for hyper-personalization, predictive analytics for supply chain optimization).
- Build trusted advisor relationships with C-suite stakeholders, aligning AI initiatives with business
- AI Solution Development
- Architect end-to-end AI solutions: ideation, data strategy, model development (ML/GenAI), MLOps, andscaling.
- Drive cross-sector innovation (e.g., GenAI-powered customer service automation for retail, predictivemaintenance in manufacturing).
- Ensure ethical AI practices, governance, and compliance across deployments.
- Thought Leadership & Market Presence
- Publish insights on AI trends (e.g., multimodality, RAG architectures)
- Shape the AI go-to-market strategy, enhancing its reputation as a leader in transformative AI
Skills and attributes for success
- Technical Expertise:
- Mastery of AI/GenAI lifecycle: NLP, deep learning (Transformers, GANs), cloud platforms (AWSSageMaker, Azure ML), and tools (LangChain, Hugging Face).
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and generative models (GPT, Claude, Stable Diffusion).
- Consulting Acumen:
- 15+ years in top-tier consulting, with 5+ years leading AI engagements.
- Expertise in stakeholder management, value storytelling, and commercial negotiation.
- Leadership:
- Track record of building high-performing teams and strong AI portfolios.
- Exceptional communication skills, bridging technical and executive audiences.
To qualify for the role, you must have

- Familiar in implementing solutions in Azure Cloud Framework
- Excellent Presentation Skills
- 18+ years of relevant work experience in developing and implementing AI, Machine Learning Models[1]experience of deployment in Azure is preferred
- Experience in application of statistical techniques like Linear and Non-LinearRegression/classification/optimization, Forecasting and Text analytics.
- Familiarity with deep learning and machine learning algorithms and the use of popular AI/ML frameworks
- Minimum 6 years of experience in working with NLG, LLM, DL Techniques
- Relevant understanding of Deep Learning and neural network techniques
- Expertise in implementing applications using open source and proprietary LLM models
- Proficient in using Langchain-type orchestrators or similar Generative AI workflow management tools
- Minimum of 6-9 years of programming in Python
- Experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and principles of product development
- Willingness to mentor team members
- Solid thoughtfulness, technical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Experience
- PhD/ MS/ Mtech/ Btech in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- Published research/papers on AI/GenAI applications.
