Job Description
Major Accountabilities:
- Local Oncology Franchise Medical Strategy & Planning
- Local Scientific Leader (SLs) / Key Decision Makers (KDMs) engagement/planning
- Collaborative activities with local Oncology Societies/Scientific community
- Local Promotional & Non-promotional compliance for Oncology activities, materials & programs
- Therapeutic area Medical Training
Medical activities:
- Ensure regular scientific updating for Sales & Marketing team.
- Provide medical input including patient flow analysis to the assigned tumor types
- Proactively communicate the science behind our company’s Oncology portfolio to scientific leaders in terms of locally registered products & reactively respond to their queries on our company’s Oncology pipeline.
- Providing medical/scientific robust support with full collaboration with Policy & Access to facilitate formulary inclusions/ reimbursement.
- Construct & execute valuable scientific education activities to position our company as a partner to the oncology scientific community
- Conduct input seeking activities (ex: Advisory Boards) for proper understanding of local epidemiology & management patterns across indications, according to our company, local & international compliance guidelines/regulations.
- Conducts medical training to the Oncology Commercial, Market Access, Sales & Regulatory functions.
- Review & approve local promotional materials while ensuring adherence to our company’s guidelines/SOPs as well as International Promotional compliance standards.
- Ensures all Oncology promotional & non promotional activities/programs in Gulf countries are executed in a compliant manner according to our company’s regulations/codes/SOPs in adherence with Local & International compliance regulations/standards.
Clinical Research:
- Supports Clinical research activities for Global, regional & local studies
- Identification of appropriate local sites / investigators for Oncology clinical research programs
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Physician, Dentist or Pharmacist.
- Preferably 1-2 years’ experience in Medical Affairs department.
- Excellent Communication Skills & ability to engage with Scientific Leaders (SLs) / Key Decision Makers (KDMs) in a confident high-level scientific rapport.
- Oncology experience is preferable.
- Arabic & English Fluency.
- Good utility of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
