Job Description:
Bank of America Global Information Security is seeking a passionate and experienced Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution for 1 or more proprietary applications. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the product vision, prioritizing features, and ensuring the delivery of a user-centric product that meets business objectives. A strong understanding of UI/UX principles is crucial, as you will work closely with design teams to create intuitive and engaging user experiences. You will be a key advocate for the user and will play a vital role in driving the success.
Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with company goals and market opportunities.
- User Research & Analysis: Conduct user research, analyze user behavior, and identify user needs and pain points to inform product decisions.
- Requirements Gathering & Prioritization: Translate user needs and business requirements into clear and well-defined product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Prioritize features based on impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
- UI/UX Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers to develop intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and experiences. Provide feedback on designs based on user research, usability principles, and product goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with engineering, design, marketing, finance, and product support teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Product Development & Launch: Oversee the product development process, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Plan and execute product launches and ongoing iterations.
- Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Define and track key product metrics, analyze performance, and identify areas for improvement. Use data to inform product decisions and iterate on existing features.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings. Identify opportunities and threats to inform product strategy.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate product vision, progress, and results to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Advocate for the User: Be the voice of the user within the organization, ensuring user needs are at the forefront of product decisions.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, best practices, and user-centered design methodologies.
- Experience working closely with UI/UX designers and providing constructive feedback on design concepts and prototypes.
- Experience with cybersecurity product management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., SAFE Agile).
- Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Figma).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

- References for products sold in the marketplace from prior experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Design) or equivalent experience.
