In this role, you will contribute to a highly strategic and exciting Data Solutions team within Core Business Services as a Data Soulution Platform Specialist.

The role of the Data Soulution Platform Specialist includes:

• Understanding environmental frameworks, policies, and best practices.
• Manage and monitor security for resources in Azure, multi-cloud, and hybrid environments as part of an end-to-end infrastructure.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices relevant to the platform, and lead research and innovation initiatives to explore new opportunities for enhancing platform capabilities and driving business value.
• Leveraging EY Fabric standards.
• Ensures consistency across numerous environment landscapes.
• Work with architects, administrators, and developers to plan and implement solutions that meet security and compliance requirements.
• Ensure thorough documentation of platform architecture, configurations, processes and exceptions and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
• Assist in selecting the best tools and systems to monitor our data platforms.
• Work closely with vendor for the implementation of platform enhancements/upgrades/changes.
• Work with vendors to implement best practices/standards across our data platforms.
• Provide recommendations in defining security roles and permissions.
• Collating metrics and reporting information to leadership.
• Engagement with Development Operations, Service Transition and project teams to plan and understand environment usage.

• Experience: 10 yrs + Leading onshore / offshore teams.
• Expertise in Azure services, governance, data platforms, disaster recovery, identity management, etc.
• In depth knowledge of Data Lakes/Query Lakes.
