Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
Required Qualifications:
One or more of the following preferred:
Experience with major industry PCB design tools (Mentor Xpedition, OrCAD, or Altium PCB design tools)
Proven track record of effectively collaborating with CAD designers for PCB layout
Solid understanding of Power Integrity and Signal Integrity fundamentals
Ability to explain and debug common chip-to-chip interfaces used in consumer electronics, including JTAG, SPI, I2C, UART, USB, CSI/DSI, and PCIe
Demonstrated ability to architect board-level designs utilizing state-of-the-art mobile electronics chipsets
Understanding of both the first principles of common PCB board-level components as well as available offerings from major vendors (i.e. DC/DC converters, level shifters, ICs for common interfaces…)
Experience with debugging tools such as JTAG and lab test equipment such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.
High-level understanding of Software Engineering principles, and ability to perform light programming in windows or linux environments, with languages such as python, C/C++, and tcl.
Ability to collaborate with a team through version control tools such as git and gerrit
Proficiency in SystemVerilog and experience with FPGA design using Xilinx Vivado is a plus

Pay range:
$93,500.00 - $156,000.00
