JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Cyber Security Architect/Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data. You will be responsible for designing and implementing security solutions, conducting risk assessments, and providing guidance on best practices. Your expertise will help protect our organization from cyber threats and ensure the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of our information assets. You will report directly to our Cyber Security Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the security posture of our organization by implementing robust security measures and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Design and implement security solutions to protect our systems and data
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security vulnerabilities
• Provide guidance and recommendations on security best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of security measures
• Stay updated with the latest security trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement

YOU MUST HAVE • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cyber security architecture/engineering
• Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies
• Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
• Familiarity with network security, encryption, and authentication protocols
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
WE VALUE • Master's degree in Cyber Security or a related field
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH
• Experience with cloud security and DevSecOps practices
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
