In this role, you will:
Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic counselor to senior leaders in Legal and Finance
Develop and implement communications strategies - including scenario plans, stakeholder engagement plans, and messaging
Write talking points, briefing documents, leader messages, intranet articles, press releases, key messages, media statements, and social media submissions
Support C-suite level town halls, including event planning, logistics, talking points, and decks
Respond to reporters from key national print, newswire, radio and broadcast media outlets
Act as a spokesperson for media inquiries or prepare suitable subject matter experts to respond
Identify and execute on executive advocacy, external speaking, and award opportunities
Track and measure results to ensure they are in line with intended outcomes
Partner with other communicators to ensure alignment of communications strategies and messaging

Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Experience developing communications strategies and plans for financial services companies
Experience counseling senior leaders on high profile issues and internal communications
Experience with issues management and crisis communications
Experience working with reporters from national and trade media outlets
Experience writing stories across various social, internal, and digital channels
Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades and influences decision makers

150 East 42nd Street - New York, NY ($133,300 to $237,100)
