As a Power conversion development Engineer, the candidate has to work with stakeholders and others in a multidisciplinary team to define requirements and develop the power subsystem solution for next generation enterprise server systems. Must have
strong fundamentals in core Power electronics disciplines, control theory, analog, digital, magnetics, and optimized pc board layout, with a high level of analysis and design skills. This position involves end to end ownership of the Server Power Subsystem.

As Power development engineer, the responsibilities include
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics or equivalent program
- Around 8-12 years engineering experience
- Understanding of Development process from Concept to Qualification
- To identify issues, develop and execute action plans, and react quickly to changing requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in High efficiency/High Reliability DC-DC and AC-DC Power Conversion
- Lab support experience using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, frequency counters, etc. and understanding test/validation results is critical. Logic debug skills are also required for this position.
- Experience using PCB design/editor tool (ex: Cadence Allegro).
- Experience with I2C, PMBus, AVSBus, SPI protocols and power management devices.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and statistical tools also a plus (ex: JMP).
- Basic Software Engineering experience (writing and/or modifying Perl, Bash or Shell scripts)
- Demonstrated communication skills in a cross functional Development team environment.
- Should demonstrate interpersonal communication, creative problem solving, and team building skills.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Basic understanding of server and computer architecture
- Master’s/PhD Power Electronics
- Experience in Power Design Development
- Exposure to Development of Computer Enterprise Server Systems
- A background and experience in signal integrity and power integrity is a plus as these skills are integral to power design.
