Job responsibilities
- Drive the execution of assigned prioritized initiatives in the product roadmap, primarily focused on platform capabilities
- Refine Initiatives into Business Requirements (Epics) that can be delivered within a quarter
- Breakdown Epics into smaller increments of work (Stories) including detailed acceptance criteria that will produce working software by partner technology teams within a Sprint
- Partner with area product owners to perform sprint planning by prioritizing Stories according to the product roadmap and targeted delivery timelines
- Prioritize work (Epics) by performing quarterly planning based on partner technology teams capacity
- Manage workflow of Stories and Epics in Jira for accurate reflection of progress completion
- Own accountability for requirements delivery from start-to-finish, including acceptance criteria fulfillment
- Step in as-needed for issue triage and remediation to ensure consistent production quality
- Manage time and work-load effectively in order to support a healthy backlog of requirements
- Attend and contribute to all scrum/agile ceremonies
- Coordinate with other product teams to agree on delivery expectations and work through blockers
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
- Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
- Experience with Jira, Align, agile product development and software delivery lifecycle
- Expertise in business requirements writing and communication.
- Effective communicator with excellent written communication skills
- Proven track record of new product feature creation and delivery
- Ability to influence people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions
- Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines and calmness under pressure
- Excels in a dynamic environment that changes due to external factors and new priorities
