Essential Responsibilities:

The Business Technology Analyst will be responsible for working on the Consumer and Business Banking Operations (CBBO) Mortgage Default loan processing line of business, which involves managing and overseeing the various stages and tasks associated with handling mortgages that are in default. This line of business focuses on ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, minimizing financial losses, and assisting borrowers in resolving their delinquent loans. This position will work alongside stakeholders to implement strategies and tools to mitigate financial losses for U.S. Bank and solutions to prevent foreclosure. Additional responsibilities include: analyzing the gathered information to identify key business objectives

and constraints; creating clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation of the requirements; reviewing the documented requirements with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness; maintaining and updating the requirements documentation as new information is obtained or changes occur; collaborating with the business to document the loss mitigation

business process and coordinating with the vendor on the tool functionality; working with the offshore team; documentation of the stories and issues in Jira using a structured approach to ensure all user stories and identified issues are captured, tracked, managed, and linked efficiently; performing UAT by creating test scenarios and cases based on the refined requirements

and business processes; ensuring that test cases cover all functional and non-functional aspects of the solution; conducting tests according to the defined scenarios and cases; documenting the comprehensive process and guidelines of Loss Mitigation process to enable and perform quality assurance and validation from End-2-End perspective; documenting the various formulas that are used to calculate the delinquent principal, interest, Escrow Advances and Escrow Shortages on the default loans contingent upon investors/ insurers of the loans; documenting any defects or issues discovered during testing; tracking the status of reported issues and retesting, as necessary; and ensuring that all reported defects have been addressed and fixed appropriately. This position will utilize JIRA and TFS to track the requirements, grooming notes, and issues; MS SQL Server Management studio to query the loans in default and their attributes; Zephyr to track the test execution; Postman to execute webservices; Microsoft Visio to develop process flow diagrams; and the full suite of Microsoft Office applications. Multiple openings. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location.

Basic Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science plus 5 years of experience as a Business Technology Analyst, System Analyst, Technical Consultant, Project Lead, or related.

Required Skills/Experience:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science plus 5 years of experience as a Business Technology Analyst, System Analyst, Technical Consultant, Project Lead, or related. Must possess 5 years of experience with each of the following: creating program test strategy, defining testing scope, providing testing estimation, deciding the manual / automation testing tools, and defining the environments /timelines; creating and managing all project related artifacts which include test strategy, test plan, programming testing status report, issues and risks logs, and change management process document; project management; creating test design, testing procedures and defining test scope for projects based on the business requirements document, Story Cards, Data mapping and other requirement specifications; providing solutions and documenting all positive and negative scenarios; creating test case scripts which cover functional, non-functional, and implicit requirements; providing testing standards to design or execute number of test cases by each resource per day according to complexity; validating and verifying software at all testing phases which includes functional testing, system integration testing, end to end testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing; analyzing business requirements; TFS; JIRA; MS SQL Server; COBOL; JCL; DB2; Selenium; and HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
