About the role:

participantyou will collaborate cross-functionally to develop manufacturing processes to create innovative, breakthrough next-generation medical devices. We partner with R&D on the front end of projects, innovate to determine how to make a design come to fruition and partner with Operations to launch life-saving devices into the market that improve and extend the lives of patients around the world.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for the integrity and content of Process Plans with respect to materials used in processing and sequencing of tasks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and refine manufacturing processes
  • Design, fabricate and test prototype devices to address clinical feedback
  • Conduct process characterization experiments and Process Validation to determine optimal settings to be used in device manufacturing
  • Investigate and recommend new technology to be utilized to create medical devices

Required Qualifications:

  • Must graduate between Fall 2026 – Spring 2027
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate level degree majoring inMechanical Engineering,Biomedical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
  • Must be able to commit to a full 8-month co-op assignment during one of the following timeframes:
    • January 12th, 2026 – August 7th, 2026, OR
    • May 18th or May 26th, 2026 – December 18th, 2026
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the Maple Grove, MN Boston Scientific Corporate location

  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Passion to learn new technologies and find new solutions
  • Previous internship or co-op experience
  • Desire to work in a medical device company where real products get manufactured
