Description
Emerging Technologies team is seeking talented, highly motivated and disciplined engineers to work across Layer 4 - Layer 7 load balancing and security technologies. Key responsibilities include: Implement all phases of the development cycle for a software product from understanding requirements, to going through the design, development and deployment phases Work with cross functional teams to deliver the features into product under tight timelines Collaborate with your teammates through design discussions, code and design reviews, advocate for software development best practices, and mentor junior teammatesVersatile and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack
Minimum Qualifications
  • Expertise in C & C++
  • Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, SSL and HTTP Protocols
  • Good understanding of HTTP/HTTPS proxies
  • Working experience with load balancer products like NGINX and Envoy
  • At least 5 years of relevant software development experience
  • Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer science or related engineering field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Programming experience in LUA, Python, Go and Rust
  • Knowledge of WAF
  • Experience with public cloud platforms: GCP, AWS
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
