Order Desk Team Management:

  • Lead and supervise the Inbound and Outbound Order Desk Team, providing guidance, training, and feedback to enhance productivity

Order Management:

  • Manage all aspects of Order Management, including order entry, validation, allocation, invoicing, and shipping for accurate and timely execution

Order Issues Handling:

  • Coordinate with sales, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and warehouse teams to resolve order-related issues like discrepancies, changes, cancellations, and expedited requests

  • Collaborate with the Accounts and Logistics Departments to address delivery and invoice problems

  • Handle escalated inquiries and complaints regarding orders by working closely with the sales team and SCMs to provide timely resolutions

Process Improvements:

  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to streamline Order Management processes and boost efficiency

  • Monitor and analyse order processing metrics (e.g., cycle time, accuracy, fulfilment rate) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.

  • Work with Process Improvement/IT and other stakeholders to identify and implement system enhancements or automation solutions for improved order management efficiency and accuracy

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements concerning order processing and customer data privacy.

  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on orders and overall reconciliation

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales order desk/order management as a Team Leader or someone looking for their next step up into a team lead role. Open to consider experience in Customer Operations Lead, Sales Administration or a similar role

  • Open to industries such as FMCG, Computer Hardware, Consumer Electronics, Consumer Goods or a similar industry

  • Experience handling confidential information and sensitive matters related to pricing and new product launches

  • Demonstrated track record of leading teams and implementing processes and policies

  • Highly desirable working experience with SAP/ERP and has strong excel skills

  • Strong management and team leadership skills and confident with strong decision-making abilities

  • Excellent verbal communication and people management skills
