Your key responsibilities
- Lead projects across a variety of domains, including automation, connectivity, electrification, AI, and other emerging technologies.
- Work closely with clients to evaluate, plan for, design, build, and maintain scalable and robust solutions that leverage the full spectrum of digital and advanced technologies.
- Help clients make data-driven decisions by building out predictive models and advising on best-in-class practices.
- Engage with stakeholders to define strategies, build roadmaps, identify gaps, and expedite go-to-market strategies using advanced technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated AI and data solutions that drive results for clients, ensuring advanced technologies are leveraged to enhance safety, efficiency, and performance.
- Provide thought leadership on safety-related automated driving and aviation topics, including safety strategy, risk management, industry standards, and best practices.
- Navigate through the complex landscape of regulations and standards, advising clients on compliance and strategic alignment.
- Foster and maintain business relationships, ensuring stakeholder engagement and satisfaction throughout the engagement lifecycle.
- Lead by example, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team.
Skills and attributes for success
- Proven experience in range of technologies and domain, including autonomous systems, digital services, electrification, and enterprise AI.
- Familiarity with safety engineering, safety regulations, technical standards and industry best practices.
- Understanding of automated and autonomous systems, their operational design domains, and the evolution of human roles within these systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical systems and programs, and efficiently deliver executables.
- Ability to influence and respond to industry standards, best practices, state-of-the-art technology assessments, and forecasts.
- Experience working with transportation or manufacturing relevant data sets such as safety, crash, weather, and supply chain.
- Understanding of key physical AI and autonomy use cases, including drivers and barriers to adoption.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with data mining, data engineering, statistical tools, and development in Python, R, SAS, SQL, Java/C#, or similar.
- Ability to lead and manage projects that encompass a broad scope of technologies, adapting to the evolving needs of the mobility sector.
To qualify for the role you must have
- A bachelor’s degree or MS degree in Engineering, Advanced Data Analytics, or a related technical or scientific field.
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience, with a strong background in consulting or technology roles within the advanced manufacturing and mobility sector
- Industry experience in ground transportation, advanced mobility, automated driving, or aviation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and initiatives, with a focus on emerging technologies.
- A valid driver’s license in the US; willingness and ability to travel to meet client needs.
- A track record of maintaining strong client relationships and successfully managing stakeholder expectations.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- A comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the advanced manufacturing and mobility industry, including areas such as automation, electrification, AI, and other digital services.
- Experience with stakeholder engagement at all levels, including building and maintaining business relationships.
- A passion for emerging technologies and their application in real-world scenarios to enhance safety and efficiency.
- The ability to mentor and develop team members, fostering an environment of growth and innovation.
What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $124,300 to $227,900. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $149,200 to $259,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
