Tests and modifies general systems-level software/hardware, specialized utility and/or hardware. Interprets wireless specifications. Designs test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures. Documents systems-level defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to developers. Identifies, analyzes, troubleshoots, and documents problems with program function, output, or content. Develops testing programs that assess effectiveness of a new system or modification of an existing system.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• Job Function: We are looking for talented test engineers with experience in BSP testing, with strong interest in learning new BSP technologies (such as boot, kernel, storage, bus, PCIE etc.), working together with global teams for internal, customer and competitors’ devices, testing BSP technologies for Qualcomm’s Windows/Mobile/IOT product lines.

• Responsibilities: As an BSP Test Engineer, working scope includes:

• Be responsible for testing covers basic BSP feature, advance user case, performance, stability, user experience and so on.

• Be responsible for Qualcomm Windows ecosystem test and research.

• Responsible for BSP testing, issue follow up with dev, test data analysis, post-processing.

• Be responsible for new feature study&testing, bug root cause analyzing&tracking

• Be responsible for test report delivery.

• Automation execution and deployment.

• Support on lab test environment setup for different functional, performance and quality test purpose.

• Research and self-motivation for new test cases and new test method.

• Skills/Experience:

• Basic test experience on Windows or on Android platform.

• Have the basic knowledge of related areas including Linux kernel, computing system, or SoC on embedded system.

• Be familiar with Windows platform architecture or familiar with windows debug is a plus.

• Familiar with programing languages such as C/C++, python, shell, coding/automation experience is a big plus.

• Good cooperation with team members. Forceful responsibility is necessary.

• Excellent written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
