What you’ll be doing:
Work with chip architects to understand architecture concept and high-level system requirements
Identify key areas for power improvements acrossArchitecture/Software/Hardwareand develop new features, defining requirements and dependencies across various teams.
Creating power models of key SoC units to evaluate architectural tradeoffs in DL/ML(training/inference),CPU, GPU, and multimedia workloads.
Drive improvements to architecture development processes to improve execution capabilities.
What we need to see:
Masters or PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
10+ years of Chip / Power Architecture experience
Excellent leadership capabilities to drive execution of a chip project.
You have meaningful industry expertise in SoC architecture definition – Peak or Thermal Power Management, Power Sequencing, Power Islands, Clocks, Resets, and Fabric/Interconnects Power
Comfortable communicating and solving issues at all levels of architecture definition from micro-architecture to system level to software architecture
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience with a breadth of System Architectures in different areas of chip design and power management microarchitecture.
Inventions in one or more domains relevant to Power architecture.
