As a business analyst, you will be the go-to expert, leveraging various data platforms and analytical tools to deliver timely, meaningful, and digestible information. You will develop deep contextual and domain knowledge, ensuring data quality and creating scalable tools. Communicating findings effectively and persuasively will be key to your success. Key job responsibilities
• You use data analysis and your understanding of business objectives to solve difficult problems to drive decision(s) and action(s) within a project. You analyze difficult business processes to drive improvement.
• You use your knowledge and skills to decide which actions to take to meet goals. You work with Product Manager and stakeholders to understand difficult problems and propose outputs that will meet business needs, deliverables, and timelines.
• You know your team’s business strategy and use your deep business expertise to contribute to it. You build flexible solutions.
• You proactively monitor metrics to maintain awareness of business performance and acquire relevant multi-domain knowledge.
• You identify what needs to be repeatable
versus one-time and solve accordingly. You have a solid understanding of how to extract data through SQL, visualization best practices, and analysis techniques.
• Your analytics solutions provide insights that are inputs to your team and/or stakeholders. Your solutions inform team strategy by providing visibility to business performance, highlighting new opportunities.
• You are clear and concise in your communication.
• You put the right people in the room. You are trusted to present decisions to leaders up to three levels above you (L8).

- Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field
- Experience in Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau
- Experience in business or financial analysis
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
