Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in business, Supply Chain, process improvement or related organization.
  • Forecasting Model Development Experience.
  • Deep technical knowledge, ideally with experience in multiple sectors and industries.
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, engineering, or related discipline is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Previous Data Center construction exposure/experience would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries.
  • Willingness to adapt quickly to shifting business priorities.

Responsibilities:

Business Operations

  • Managing the supply side of the planning equation, lead and support suppliers and project execution teams to capture and report historic, current, and forward-looking information to support performance-to-plan analytics, risk management, and inventory tracking.
  • Conduct production meetings with various stakeholders to understand and track changes to plans and execution and enable visibility into impacts to the business.
  • Support strategic prioritization discussions using first-hand knowledge of a complex portfolio of constrained resources to optimize regional, efficient, and impactful deployment of those resources.
  • Track and report on high-level, end-to-end technical milestones as they apply to the construction process with insight into critical path activities. Engage in existing business processes and create processes to make critical path risks transparent with a goal to collaborate cross-functionally to get ahead of risks and work together to mitigate them.
  • Use a deep understanding of manufacturing best practices to work effectively with suppliers and be able to report on inventory matters including WIP, material procurement, cycles, quality, testing, on-time delivery, setting and measuring KPIs, and overall inventory management concepts.

Business Strategy

  • Own internal and external collaboration tooling to support the cross-functional collaboration to gain and maintain the visibility needed to report on and manage the regional portfolio of projects.
  • Implement tools/applications and provide requirements to stakeholders to evolve the functionality and usability of current and new systems being leveraged.
  • Bring insights into process improvements internally and externally to add better transparency across the business.

Business Processes

  • Contributes to the development of models for evaluating logistics operations/service quality/materials management and develop processes or contingency plans for managing risk with minimal guidance.
  • Contributes to the development and evolution of workstream processes.
  • Leverages supply chain knowledge and models to identify opportunities for improvement with minimal guidance.
    Implement inventory tracker and maintenance process to comply with contractual requirements.
  • Work with procurement teams and local business teams to create new purchase orders for test equipment.

Strategy and Development

  • Demonstrates creativity and flexibility by thinking beyond current practices. Supports long-term, strategic alignment with suppliers.
    Contribute to the team’s objectives and key results.
  • Vendor Management and contract compliance
  • Manage aspects of logistics operations.
  • Partners with third-party vendors to support the operations of a distribution or fulfilment center and is responsible for maintaining objectives and key results (OKRs) with minimal guidance.
  • Actively engages in supplier management processes, such as selection, qualification, performance evaluation, and risk assessment.
  • Uses appropriate and increasingly complex data sources and converts data as needed.
