Minimum qualifications:
Preferred qualifications:
- Associate's degree, trade school certification, other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in Controls in an industrial or commercial environment.
- Ability to lift/move 50 lbs of equipment, work on platforms, ladders, and under raised floors.
- Ability to work non-standard hours, rotations/shifts.
Preferred qualifications:
- Industry standard certifications related to system administration (e.g., CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Certified Windows or Linux system administrator).
- 5 years of experience in controls/automation, construction/technical environment, or a related field.
- Experience in data centers, hospitals, power plants, or laboratories.
- Knowledge of meters, devices, sensors, relays and troubleshooting utilizing standard hand tools, digital metering, or calibration/diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to communicate with contractors who perform maintenance or upgrade work on the data center systems.
- Scripting language proficiency.
