This job will assist in the preparation, review, and analysis of federal and state income tax returns and supporting work papers, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will prepare and review calculations for the domestic income tax provision and monitor data from various departments to support tax calculations. Your role includes conducting research on federal and state income tax matters, managing tax notices and audits, and initiating process improvements to enhance efficiency. Additionally, you will provide direct tax support for business initiatives, transactions, new product launches, and commercial arrangements.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Advise with the preparation, review, and analysis of federal and state income tax returns and supporting work papers
  • Prepare and review supporting calculations for the domestic income tax provision
  • Monitor data from various groups within the tax department, corporate accounting, and treasury to support tax calculations
  • Conduct research on various federal and state income tax matters
  • Monitor with federal and state income tax notices and income tax audits
  • Manage process improvement initiatives to increase overall efficiencies
  • Provide direct tax support for business initiatives, transactions, new product launches, and commercial arrangements
  • Manage tax controversy matters and present options for resolution
  • Advise the preparation of income tax returns with local tax service providers
  • Collaborate with other teams within the Tax department to ensure all aspects of tax have been considered
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Controllership, Corporate FP&A, Legal, and a broad group of business stakeholders
  • Analyze and evaluate the impact of current and proposed tax policy changes
  • Implement plans and strategies to mitigate tax risks and optimize opportunities

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

The US national annual pay range for this role is $111,500 to $191,950
