Responsibilities:
  • Contributes to the design, roll-out and governance of financial solutions, quarterly monitoring and supporting model development including:
  • Participates in formulating quarterly model performance report, running and modifying back-testing on timely manner
  • Demonstrate knowledge on regression, macroeconomic drivers and be able to explain data trends with rationale related to econometric, statistical and market knowledge
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as a team player and demonstrate accountability and willingness to learn while working with senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
  • 1-5 years of experience in financial industry
  • Knowledge in Statistics, Econometrics, Economics and proficiency in Excel required; SAS, Python or other programing languages preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the goals of the area
  • Has working knowledge of industry practices and standards.
  • Be an accountable, professional individual and demonstrate work ethics
Education:
  • Bachelors degree required. Masters degrees in Economics, Statistics, Econometrics and/or data science strongly preferred.
