Your Key Responsibilities:
Provision of timely and detailed legal advice in relation to legal questions and proposed commercial arrangements together with issue spotting and problem solving. Drafting of relevant documentation, including:
Preparation and negotiation of a broad range of commercial contracts and associated documentation (e.g. MSAs, pan-European framework agreements) relating to the various EO business activities;
Preparation and negotiation of a range of services and supplier contracts, including marketing and software services agreements, agreements facilitating the distribution of Samsung services, as well as contracts for data, systems and software relating to Samsung’s platforms;
Proactively supporting the European affiliate legal teams with EO related contract and commercial related queries, including drafting of pan-EU contracts for the procurement of services and to facilitate key projects / engagement with key partners;
Seeking and coordinating input where necessary from other colleagues across the team and the business;
Helping to develop and understand risk mitigation strategies for contractual and business risks;
Helping to develop and maintain effective contract processes, our contract management system and precedent agreements and all relevant end user documents;
Representing Samsung in internal and external meetings with key partners
What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
Experience in contracts & commercial.
Experience in a premier Law Firm or major regional firm.
Strong experience in contract negotiation and drafting.
Experience working on pan-European agreements and contracting for the benefit of companies within a wider corporate group.
Strong overall grasp of general commercial matters and technical knowledge.
Advising global consumer products brands.
In-house experience is desirable.

Candidates are encouraged to be technically strong, pragmatic, flexible, good communicators, detail focused, culturally aware / sensitive and be able to explain legal issues in clear terms that are easily understood. They need to be able to work under their own initiative to enable the business units to achieve their targets. Excellent drafting and negotiation skills are required.
