This role will be responsible for managing various security tools deployed in a global organization with 100,000+ endpoints, allowing you to gain valuable experience in the international environment. You will serve as an escalation contact for technical issues and will collaborate with multiple other teams to quickly resolve them. Participating in long-term planning and formulating endpoint security strategy, this position will provide you with interesting challenges and opportunities for career growth.
Key responsibilities:
Plan, deliver and configure security toolset to user endpoints including desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
Support enterprise endpoint security software (Microsoft Defender ATP, McAfee suite, Bitlocker etc.) managing 100,000+ assets across a variety of platforms.
Provide escalated problem resolution as needed for endpoint security tool issues. Engage various teams for cross-team collaboration.
Develop and update technical documentation for solution architecture, business continuity planning, and training purposes. Participate in both small agile focused projects, as well as large enterprise-wide projects.
Collaborate with global team members based in US, India and Europe. Train and mentor. Participate in on-call rotation.
Key Experience & Capabilities:
Bachelor of Science degree in Cyber Security or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
3+ years’ experience in Information Security or Information Technology fields.
Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response solutions such as McAfee product suite, Crowdstrike, Microsoft Defender ATP or Carbon Black.
Ability to use debugging tools (e.g., Process Monitor, Windows Performance Analyzer) to identify root cause of operations issues.
We value:
Understanding of ITIL process, such as Incidents, Change & Problem management.
Experience with Group Policy Management, System Center Configuration Manager, Chef, or other tools for central IT management.
Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools such as Splunk, ELK or QRadar.
Working knowledge of SQL-based databases, Linux operating system and/or Powershell/Python scripting.
One or more cyber security or IT-focused certifications.
Experience in working in a global, process-driven organization.
Candidate should be able to react quickly, decisively, and deliberately in high stress situations.
Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
