Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  • Develop proposal documentation for prospective third-party servicing clients and monitor for timely progress of third-party servicing opportunities
  • Perform profitability analysis related to third-party servicing opportunities and benchmark across projected and historical performance
  • Participate in negotiations of CRE mortgage servicing agreements, servicer acknowledgement letters, and other related legal documentation
  • Document discussions and interactions with clients and prospective clients for our third-party servicing platform using Salesforce
  • Support the implementation of Master and Special servicing at Grandbridge
  • Assist with the underwriting and analysis of income producing real estate assets and develop financing request packages for presentation to external capital partners
  • Coordinate timely delivery of loan request packages to external capital partners, monitor for and document responses, analyze financing quotes received, and present information to internal production teammates and external borrower clients
  • Ability to manage expectations and timeframes for the borrower clients and capital partners, while ensuring delivery of due diligence and checklist items needed for financing quotes, final loan approval and closing
  • Monitor pending maturities within the existing portfolio to identify potential opportunities to engage regarding refinancing options
  • Review industry publications to identify new business opportunities and to stay current on overall commercial real estate market conditions
  • Continually maintain working relationships with borrower and lender clients; secondarily with brokers, appraisers, and other real estate and finance professionals
  • Establish and maintain strong personal relationships with internal product managers or their designee with a focus on production for life insurance company, CMBS, and bridge lending partners, as well as other Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) partners.
  • Support the establishment and maintenance of a contact database of borrowers, lenders, brokers, and others in the commercial real estate and finance industry
  • Ensure compliance with closing schedules and document submissions
  • Maintain pipeline reports for loan sourcing and third-party servicing opportunities
  • Attend real estate industry trade functions representing Grandbridge

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, or a related field
  • Two to five years of experience in a commercial real estate mortgage loan servicing
  • Experience interpreting CRE mortgage servicing agreements, servicer acknowledgement letters, and securitized CRE financing document; preferably related to CMBS and CLO structures
  • Loan underwriting and analysis experience across multiple asset class types
  • In depth knowledge of the income producing property real estate
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Able to handle a variety of assignments and switch seamlessly between tasks
  • Ability to work harmoniously with internal and external customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven self-starter
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
  • Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
