What a typical day looks like:

  • Visit all assembly line and CFT monitoring compliance to model line spec´s
  • Monitor CIP progress for all stake holders
  • Review fol and demand with crew member In order to determine min- max calculation for all aspects of EDMs related all assembly lines.
  • Drive disciplines of compliance between lay out process flow and documents to actual line utilization.
  • Drive accountabilities and periodic audits for assembly fit up lines.
  • Participate on NPI transfer to sustaining and identify ramp up requirements an execute them.
  • Performance service and follow ups for ECO compliance and timely implementation
  • Generate structure and secure floor shop support 24/6
  • Driving traceability and problem solving tools leading to RCA identification & solution
  • Participate on customer meeting as a representative of Flex through process engineering area
  • Communicate to Global Smes to on site implementation status on the different corporative initiatives as well as benchmarking opportunities.
  • Experience in metal-mechanic’s industry
  • Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques, and the product.
  • Define, implement, and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
  • Have the capability to singly or with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process
  • High level participation in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issues.
  • Prepare justification, purchase, and implement capital equipment for production.
  • Hold up and oversee new process equipment production.
  • Establish robust, repeatable, and reproducible process parameters
  • Develop, implement, and take ownership of process control methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation.
  • Review processing methods.
  • Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer.
  • Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer.
  • Innovate Metal Mechanical projects by applying reengineering to maintain and improve the competitiveness of the organization.
  • Validate the processes used in the manufacture of mechanical parts in accordance with the applicable requirements, norms, and standards to guarantee their quality.
  • Supervise the resources inherent to their field of application, considering safety, hygiene, and environmental aspects, to increase the productivity of the company.
  • Experience for punch, bend, insertion, robotic tapping operations, including tool crib management, EDMs and MRO non-BoM materials.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Advanced English
  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree.
  • Previous experience focused on assembly is essential.
  • Knowledge in fixture design and mechanical assembly level 3 of integration.
  • Experience in manufacturing companies.
  • Experience in metal mechanics area.
  • Customer facing
  • Proven Senior experience driving groups of engineers for a complete organization.
  • Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.
  • Evaluate and select various engineered materials.
  • Implement statistical process research on new and existing products.
  • Implement safety, productivity and give in improvements.
  • Improve manufacturing techniques and through put.
  • Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities and gives in.
