As the Fund Servicing Vice President within the Securities Services Operations Global you are responsible in providing reconciliation services covering the following:

Cash and Asset Reconciliations at client account level, Fund Accounting purposes and other Reconciliations by Asset Class, stand-alone and bespoke reconciliations supporting regulatory client or product requirements

Job responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage day to day operations of the reconciliations team in Manila
  • Drive Reconciliations Operations’ transformation and automation initiatives
  • Govern and oversee effective process controls to support reconciliations functions
  • Collaborate and partner with Operations Business Partners and Leads to ensure an efficient and effective reconciliations process
  • Provide governance on aged reconciliations breaks and transparent reporting of breaks KPI to senior leaders
  • Proven experience in financial services, with sufficient experience in leading a team is required

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Strong leadership skills - Strong management skills to build a strong organization by hiring and retaining key talent
  • Senior level stakeholder management to raise the service level deliverables and obtain greater scores in Customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Strong inter-personal skills to work closely with Business transformation teams to identify, lead change and ensure execution
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement working closely with Technology partners to improve the execution, quality, efficiency & consistency of services across the global operations catering to multi geography clients
  • Drive a strong culture of Risk and control with the team and the business
  • Ensuring employee connect - coaching and mentoring of direct and indirect reports

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA/Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in managing teams
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant industry experience within Banking/ Investment Banking Operations
