Description
In this role, you'll implement new features that help users be and feel safe while browsing the web, improve the security and privacy of existing features, and take bold steps to eradicate whole classes of security issues. You’ll be involved from beginning to end — brainstorming, prototyping, coding, debugging, shipping, and addressing customer feedback. You will collaborate with industry leading experts in fuzz testing, cryptography, web security, operating system security, user privacy, and design. In this role, we want you to be imaginative and self-motivated, and care deeply about craftsmanship and quality.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative environment focused on learning
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong object-oriented programming experience
  • Thorough understanding of a manual memory managed and pointer-based language such as C, C++, or Objective-C.
  • Ability to diagnose security, performance, memory, and other issues
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with app development, experience with Swift helpful but not required
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
