The primary functionof this role is to support the Utility Service team that manages our Utility scaleBESS installations, acting as the business nominee in support of electricalservice and commissioning activities nationally and complying with theelectrical service requirements of each State.

• Act as the High Voltage Operating Authority for the business acrossAustralia and manage the HV Safety procedures including their compliancethrough all state regulatory bodies
• Oversee and approval of the implementation of electrical safetyprocedures and operational HV switching at all BESS sites
• Ensure compliance to training, both qualification and competency,working with the national technical trainer
• Provide support and advice to operations team on maintenance ofelectrical infrastructure across distribution and transmission voltages
• Provide technical advice, audits and compliance, commissioning, andinstallation of HV products and electrical systems
• Assist in the safe operation of a variety of High Voltage test equipment(including primary injection, HV IR testers, and relay testing equipment)
• Review and develop procedures for various maintenance activities relatedto Tesla Energy equipment and third party equipment
• Maintain high levels of communication and feedback within the TeslaEnergy service organization
• Maintain high level of record keeping with regards to all HV operations,including but not limited to switching co-ordination
• Have flexibility to provide support outside your region and possiblyoutside the country as required
• Perform other related duties as assigned per our growth and diversityacross applications

• Tertiary qualification or trade qualification with equivalent experience
• Minimum 10+ years’ HV electrical experience in large scale C&I,Utility sector. (Substation/Solar/Wind/Storage experience is preferred but not essential)
• Experience working with network authorities across states andterritories
• High Voltage Switching / Operating Qualification
• CPR & Low Voltage Rescue
• SCADA experience
• Must be able to work from complex and detailed documentation and/orverbal and written instructions depending on situation
• Procedural development experience
• Strong computer skills. Comfort with Microsoft office and cloud-basedcomputing programs.
• Ability to communicate and function well in a mobile officesetting
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions, electricaldiagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Must be reliable, have good initiative, committed, and quality focused
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships withthose contacted in the course of work, including the public
• Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload,and meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain and perform top level professional integrity andappearance
• Willingness to travel and maintain strong site presence
