- Utilize Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) hardware, Human Machine Interface (HMI) software, and Operational Technology (OT) networks to effectively design and implement Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems for large water/wastewater projects.
- Develop new and modify existing application programming in PLCs (programmable logic controllers), HMIs (human machine interfaces) and associated components.
- Design, troubleshoot, and consult on SCADA and Operational Technology networks including servers/workstations, network switches and firewalls.
- Participate in consulting, design, construction, planning, commissioning/start-up, training, and close-out phase activities.
- Conduct site visits and testing and make recommendations for control systems improvements and designs.
- Evaluate and develop alternative control system solutions that meet client requirements.
- Work with and coordinate SCADA system requirements with other disciplines including civil, structural, architectural, process mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical during the design phase.
- Work with contractors, and sub-contractors to resolve issues during, construction and commissioning/start-up.
- Provide general supervision and mentoring to junior staff.
- Display strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment with multiple deadlines.
- Drive ownership of health & safety in all aspects of project execution, office and personal environments.
