343 is looking for an SDE tohigh-quality software products and services through effective implementation of continuous integration and continuous(CI/CD) pipelines, custom toolsand automation.In this role, you willapply your software development skillsto solve varied technical challengesthat are critical to enhancing the game developer experience and game delivery systems,ultimately ensuringthe successful and on-time delivery ofof Haloproducts.You willindustry standardand toolwhile learning and adopting the bleeding edge cloud and AI technologiescreate custom.Roles at our studio are flexible, and you can work from home up to two days a week in this role.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Scienceor related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#,PowerShell, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years' experience with modern DevOps practices including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization and orchestration technologies(Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Azure Kubernetes Services).
  • 1+ year knowledge/experience with game engines.
  • 1+ year knowledge/experience with Azure or other cloud environments.

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirementsisrequiredfor this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will berequiredto pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Scienceor related technical field AND4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#,PowerShell, JavaScript, or Python
    • ORMaster's Degree in Computer Scienceor related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to,C, C++, C#,PowerShell, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience using data and observability solutions tomonitorkey performance indicators (KPIs) for CI/CD infrastructureor developer experience.
  • Experience with source control systems such as Git and Perforce. Perforce experience preferred.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct root cause analysis of critical problems.
  • 2+ years’engineeringexperienceat a AAA Game Studio.

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
