As a Vice president in Global Security you will be responsible and accountable for the Security function covering company assets, facilities and staff including those employees travelling to India. You will be required to maintain and develop extensive contacts with Security personnel and management in other financial services companies as well as local law enforcement and building management. Work hours may be irregular especially in times of emergency or during specific protracted investigations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate security activities for all location based operations and ensure compliance of all staff, visitors and sub-contractors with the security procedures in place.
- Ensure strict compliance to the JP Morgan worldwide rules of conduct and amongst direct reports.
- Manage and ensure sufficient coverage and deployment of a professional and responsive guard force at required locations. To report, investigate and action breaches of discipline and conduct within the guard force.
- Conduct security audits, both proactively and reactively to assess the effectiveness of security practices and procedures at all sites.
- Input and participate in the reporting of security incidents into the Security Database.
- Ensure that Access control SOPs are followed and that card administration, issuance and granting of access privileges are within compliance and regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct a six monthly review of all security and safety publicity material including Wallet card to ensure that the information and nature of the information is current and relevant.
- Accountable & Responsible for security related issue at site and extend support during JP Morgan transport operations.
- Ensure operations support to Real Estate for fire & life safety in the campus.
- Conduct Executive Protection tasks as and when nominated.
Required Qualifications Capabilities & Skills
- Should have good experience of performing strategic role in large organization either private or government organization and ability to think big
- 10 + years of experience in leading large team in complex environment
- Decision making and rationale/logical thinking. Knowledge of commonly used security industry concepts, practices is helpful.
- Ability to anticipate risks in process and implement required controls
