Your role and responsibilities
The IBM CICS Transaction Processor is a middleware product that processes vast numbers of transactions very quickly, by running mission-critical applications, for workloads such as banking transactions and credit card processing. As a CICS Developer, you will be developing and testing, troubleshooting and defect fixing as raised by the customers.
Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
- 6-10 years of experience in developing applications on the z/OS platform
- Z/OS systems programming skills on products such as CICS, RACF, Db2, MQ, IMS.
- Strong experience in developing applications using Assembler/COBOL or PL/I
- Experience of analysing and troubleshooting
- Strong debugging skills to enable you to identify and resolve defects.
- Strong communication skills to provide advice and guidance to the development team and IBM customers
- Should be open to learn additional skills required for product development
- Open to cross-geo collaboration
