The Procurement Contract Specialist role is charged with generating and reviewing contract templates to support procurement operations. Responsibilities include coordinating the review of routine procurement agreements, including confidentiality agreements, statements of work, base agreements and amendments. Key focus is on effective communication, efficiency, and organization. Keys to success in this role include effective communication, organization, contributing to process improvements, and becoming a strong support function to the sourcing teams around the globe.This role includes the following core responsibilities:
1. Generate and review purchasing-related agreements from standard templates, including confidentiality agreements, MSAs and SOWs.3. Provide contracts support and negotiate standard terms with suppliers and liaise with Procurement Contracts and Legal staff where appropriate.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation, including contract status and supplier contact information.
5. Actively monitor and work in Ariba for contract requests.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in contract administration, procurement, or a related field.
- Prior experience creating and reviewing legal contracts.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including an impeccable mastery of the English language.
- Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of partnering with senior stakeholders both inside and outside the organization.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
