Job Description

Our Support Functions deliver services and make recommendations about ways to enhance our workplace and the culture of our organization. Our Support Functions include HR, Finance, Information Technology, Legal, Procurement, Administration, Facilities and Security.

As Associate Director, Global Investigations, responsibilities include acting as a confidential and impartial source to conduct or support internal Code of Conduct investigations, including high-risk internal investigations, with particular focus on matters in APAC and EEMEA. Report directly to the Director of Global Investigations for Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (APAC and EEMEA) in the Office of General Counsel.

Main Responsibilities:

  • A demonstrated ability to be diplomatic, culturally sensitive, firm and decisive, when necessary, is a key asset for the role.

  • Can communicate confidently and effectively in English on business and legal topics.

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to plan and conduct complex investigations are required for the role.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and draw reasonable conclusions, communicate clearly, possess excellent writing skills and as a strong team player be able to work effectively with others at various levels of the organization.

  • Working across various functions within the company (e.g., Legal & Compliance, Global Security, HR, Finance), demonstrated networking and influencing skills are required.

Your Profile:

  • License to practice law (active in good standing) in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

  • Advanced degree in the field of law (e.g., J.D., LLM., Doctorate Degree).

  • 2-4 years of relevant Legal experience in conducting internal investigations (including preparation for and conducting witness interviews, document review, drafting of reports).

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to legal colleagues, business leaders, and other employees.

  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, networking and influencing skills.

  • Positive attitude.

  • Leadership skills.

  • Excellent judgment.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Substantive skills in Anti-Corruption (i.e., Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and other Anti-Corruption statutes) or similar laws.

  • Experience in interacting with executive-level individuals.
