Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIBM Cloud Databases is seeking a product manager who:- Will lead key areas of our Cloud Databases portfolio and is motivated to build fully managed cloud services, leveraging technologies including Postgresql, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Apache Kafka, MySQL and Redis.
- Is comfortable working with a high level of autonomy to deliver client value through both organic development and leveraging internal / external partnerships.
- Maintains a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, develops robust business plans, and enables product and Go To Market (GTM) readiness for a product.
- Facilitates cross-functional investment, prioritization and works with peer product managers to lead decisions and activities across divisions/units, and/or with external stakeholders.
- Will be accountable for key business metrics, including revenue, usage, user experience, market, sales and operational metrics.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 5+ years’ experience in Product Management or equivalent practical experience in product management in a Cloud or Software as a Service organization.
- Able to build broad relationships across the organization and to align different stakeholder to a common goal and vision.
- Strong communicator able to manage a wide audience at all levels of the organization, taking complex concepts and communicating in simple, effective messaging.
- Strong analytical and commercial skills with ability to utilize in all decision making and demonstrate impact on all initiatives that they lead.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in high-level business discussions and low-level technical discussions.
- Practical knowledge of GTM strategy and working with marketing and sales.
- Track record of high-quality, self-directed, timely execution, and attention to detail.

- Master’s in Business Administration
- Experience working in the regulated industry segments like BFSI, Healthcare, Telecom
