Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience working in the messaging industry with SMS aggregators (e.g., Concepto Movil, Sinch, Infobip, etc.), messaging providers (e.g., Yalo, etc.), brands (e.g., banks, airlines, ecommerce, etc.), or in similar business development roles.
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to engage with local stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience leading events or participating in industry forums in collaboration with external partners.
- Experience working with product managers, communicating customer requirements, and presenting concepts to external partners and brands.
- Understanding of complex sales processes, teams, partnerships, and building consensus.
- Ability to communicate and develop relationships at multiple levels.
- Ability to close customer and/or partnership agreements while navigating ambiguity around immature, fast-moving products and maintaining a healthy pipeline.
