Our broad objectives center on the continual development and improvement of petroleum refining, petrochemical, gas production, energy and chemical production technology. We have an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Engineer within our Refining & Petrochemical division. Opportunity for a QA/QC Engineer to join Honeywell UOP Korea based at Seoul Korea. As a key member of the project execution group within our Refining & Petrochemical division, you apply expertise and knowledge in finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve quality output and continuous improvements. You will participate in process initiatives that ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations and engineering specifications while instilling site accountability for governance of the Quality System, product acceptance and product quality.You will be an ambitious QA/QC Engineer in a visible position to interact directly with peers and leaders with the ability to multitask, problem solver looking to forge a career within a global business.

-Review of technical specifications
-Develop project inspection & test plans
-Review supplier procedures
-Plan, schedule, facilitate pre-inspection meetings
-Identify qualified inspectors through international inspection agencies
-Provide inspection coordination between client and suppliers
-Review inspection reports
-Manage supplier quality issues
-Participate in supplier qualifications & audits
-Brainstorm solutions, Continuous improvement, Coordinate resolution
-Cost improvement analysis
-Participate in discussion between Modular and Customer when requested
-Checking the work of others for technical accuracy and compliance with established guidelines and procedures

-Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering or Material Science Degree
-EPC Experience in Oil/Gas, Chemical, or Power Plant Projects
-10 minimum years Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and/or Inspection experience
-Ability to communicate well with suppliers in both written and verbally by English and Korean
-Ability to work on multiple projects & communications with International UOP offices based in Asia, US & Europe
-Ability to travel 20% on an annual basis

-12+ years experiences is preferred
-Good communication skills and problem-solving skills
-AWS CWI certification
-Experience with ASME Section VIII, IX, B31.3, AWS D1.1
-Experience with pressure vessels and heat exchangers
-Experience with structural steel and piping fabrication
-Knowledge of KGS essential
-Willingness to learn new technologies
-Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work
