What we’re looking for

The Professional Services Engineer has a crucial role to the success of the company. Reporting to the Regional Delivery Manager he will work closely with Allot’s customers, peers, Product Management, Pre-sales, solution architecture and R&D.

What you will do

• Perform installations and upgrades, as well and Interoperability Testing
• Packet capture analysis
• Prepare technical documents such as installation / Upgrade MOPs & Lo
• Stage systems offered to customers in the lab to verify the required functionality
• Support our remote PS in customer lab while deploying Allot’s products at customer environments and execution of proof of concepts, trials and demos in customer environments (Lab & Production)

Requirements :

What you should have

• 3+ years in implementation/deployment in telecommunications or network security companies
• Expert in Linux administration with strong hands-on experience
• Knowledge in networking and protocols
• Strong troubleshooting abilities in TCP/IP
• Fluent English
• Customer facing experience and Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent area of engineering study
• Willing and able to work nonregular hours
• Availability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time

Advantages

• Experience with Cloud environments and Kubernetes
• CCNA certified
• Networking with hands-on experience in configuration and troubleshooting of Routers, Switches, and Firewalls
• Cellular Packet Core networks knowledge
• Experience using Linux Bash and other scripting tools like awk and Perl
• Experience in VMware – ESXi, vSphere, and vCenter
• Experience providing service to Tier1 CSPs (Communications Service Providers)
