Key Qualifications

Description
- Prior experience in product design (preferably consumer electronics).- Experience with component modules and processes (i.e. FPC assemblies, Die-cut, Molding, Stamping, Plating, Cable bundle, batteries, etc.) and their interconnect (ACP bonding, RF and Crimping, etc)- Ability in plastic and metal part processes and manufacturing- 3D CAD skills or know-how- Experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM), and Design for Assembly (DFA), statistical tolerance analysis techniques, functional dimensioning, and geometric tolerancing- Integration of antenna module (Wifi, BT, UWB, etc) into mechanical enclosures- Support manufacturing concepts to lead all aspects of the development of specific Process Management Plans (PMP) appropriate to the program- Help in evaluating and communicating the yield of new and existing programs- Work with internal and external groups to ensure that accurate definition of quality expectations and that appropriate assurance techniques are used for the product- Support in evaluating supplier readiness and consistency to PMP at all development and qualification stages.- Help on ensuring suppliers adhere to technical and quality requirements to establish and validate (applying statistical tools) process capability, incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality control to Apple standards in meeting innovative product designs as well as test and requirements.
Education & Experience
- Pursuing a BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Electro-Mechanical or Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a similar degree- Additionally required to return to school after the internship to continue or complete your education, or an internship needs to be required for graduation from your school- Antenna or RF knowledge/courses (major) are extraordinary to have
