- Assist Industrial Engineers in developing and deploying efficient systems to integrate production associates, machines, material requirements, and information to achieve optimal manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with Production Management and cross-functional support teams to identify manufacturing constraints and execute solutions accordingly
- Assist Engineers and Production Management to plan work assignments based on production associate performance, machine capability, and production schedules. Knowledge of rules regarding alternative work schedules
- Ability to create multi-process workstation layouts, standardized work, staffing and process maps to execute a successful rebalance of workstations as needed
- Ability to prepare diagrams to illustrate workflow, product routing, floor layouts, material handling, and equipment utilization
- Ability to collect statistical production cycle time studies, analyze data, and optimize process. Working knowledge of 5S principles, Work Measurement, JIT, Kanban and Problem Solving Methods
- Understands the definition of Takt time, target cycle time, and factors of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) in depth
- Moderate data analysis skills – Tableau/Splunk/SQL knowledge is a plus
- Able to work under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills. Conflict resolution and change management skills are a plus
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Visio is a plus). Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematic drawings and formulas
- Degree or postsecondary certificate in Manufacturing Technology or equivalent expierence
- 2+ years’ experience working as a technician or production lead
