Senior Consultant - AI and Transformation Delivery – FS

As a Senior Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering AI transformation projects within the financial services sector. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and develop tailored AI solutions that drive business growth and efficiency. This role offers a blend of technical and non-technical responsibilities, making it ideal for candidates with a diverse skill set.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AI transformation projects for financial services clients.
• Deliver and implement AI/Generative AI solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation.
• Develop and present AI strategies and solutions to clients, ensuring alignment with their business objectives.
• Conduct thorough analysis of client data to uncover insights and inform AI solution development.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AI trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

• A blend of experience in AI, Data Science, and Data Engineering.
• Experience in building Machine Learning solutions.
• LLMs or cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• A deep understanding of AI concepts, applications, and ethical considerations.
• Knowledge of data architecture principles and a good understanding of data security and privacy.
• Agile project methodology expertise, tailored to the fast-paced and regulated environment.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and software engineering principles, ensuring robust and secure AI deployments.
• Leadership skills complemented by excellent communication abilities and a collaborative, inclusive mindset.
• A commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of emerging trends in AI, Data Science, and the insurance market.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• 2-5 years of experience in AI, data science, consulting, transformation, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies and their applications in financial services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering AI projects from concept to implementation.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or similar is a plus.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Further academic qualification in a relevant field (MSc/PhD).
• Data platform experience with DataBricks or Snowflake.
• Relevant certifications in Azure or AWS (Certified Azure Solution Architect Expert; Certified Azure AI Engineer; AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Industry sector-specific experience (energy and resources/government/consumer products and retail).
• Front-end development experience in JavaScript or D3.js.
