Job Summary:
As a SAP SAC Planning Manager, you will lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning solutions for our clients within the Financial Services industry. Your role will encompass leading a team of consultants and developers (both onshore and offshore), collaborating closely with clients to understand their planning and forecasting needs, and ensuring the successful delivery of SAP SAC Planning projects. You will be instrumental in developing both business and technology strategies that enhance business planning and performance through innovative SAP SAC Planning solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Design and deploy SAP SAC Planning solutions customized to client requirements, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
- Strategic Planning: Utilize industry knowledge and insights to develop and implement strategies for optimizing planning and forecasting processes with SAP SAC, providing clients with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Project Leadership: Manage SAP SAC Planning projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and within budget.
- Client Engagement: Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients to understand their planning needs, translating these requirements into effective SAP SAC Planning solutions.
- Stakeholder Communication: Lead client and stakeholder communications, ensuring alignment on project objectives, progress, and deliverables.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of SAP SAC Planning consultants and developers to meet client and project expectations. Foster a collaborative environment and drive internal initiatives to shape go-to-market strategies.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with SAP SAC Planning advancements and industry trends. Promote and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of SAP SAC solutions.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate) is a plus.
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in SAP SAC Planning consulting, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud Planning, including implementation, configuration, and integration. Familiarity with related SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW) is advantageous.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively, drive project success, and deliver high-quality outcomes in a client-facing role.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on leveraging SAP SAC Planning to enhance business planning and forecasting processes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members across different regions.
- Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with a proven ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration and other related SAP products.
- Industry-specific knowledge and/or experience in financial services.

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $141,200 to $258,900. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $169,500 to $294,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
