Consulting - Technology Consulting - Sector Technologies & Platforms - Power & Utilities - Digital Grid (Senior) (Multiple Positions) (1643847), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Raleigh, NC.
Provide consulting services to Power & Utilities clients implementing Digital Grid Programs, capabilities and systems resulting in increased value and efficiency. Work with both technical and non-technical project teams in the development and implementation of technology solutions and/or infrastructure. Engage in continuous process improvement and identify innovative solutions through research, analysis, and best practices. Analyze utility industry client requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing business processes and system capabilities, workflow, and work scheduling limitations. Assist in developing, documenting and revising system design requirements, procedures, test procedures, and quality standards. Advise clients regarding proposed definition and implementation of an over-arching systems strategy, including architecture, design, and roadmaps. Focus on delivering measurable, sustainable results to protect utilities businesses from computer-related risks, improve performance, and help clients maximize operational efficiency. Participate in client working sessions and lead workstreams in planning, execution, and closure. Assist with providing strategic and tactical insights, connectedness and responsiveness to all clients to help anticipate their needs.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field and 2 years of related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field and 1 year of related work experience.
Must have 1 year of experience translating business requirements into IT solutions, including gathering business and technical requirements, solution design and build, testing, and solution deployment.
Must have 1 year of experience supervising technology professionals within Power & Utilities technology projects.
Must have 1 year of experience leading workshops and presentations to stakeholders.
