What you need to know about the role-
In this role you will be responsible for identifying and implementing seamless self-service experiences for customers to resolve their issues when contacting PayPal via Chat or IVR.

Your day to day

· Developsefficient, elegant, clean, reusable code with no unnecessary complication or abstraction.

· Mentorother engineers and developers by providing technical and business-related guidance and resources;

· Designingand developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance

· Interactwith other teams across the system software stack to clearly communicate and express your requirements and design

· Demonstratea customer centric mindset as part of day-day work.

· Ownend-to-end quality of deliverables during all phases of the software development lifecycle.

· Workwith managers, leads and peers to come up with implementation options

· Abilityto function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage continuously changing business needs.

What do you need to bring-

· 5+ years of Strong programming skills and expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring boot and Hibernate

· Buildconversations flows using different industry standard platforms for developing chatbots, voice bots using natural languageunderstanding.

· Experiencewith REST API’s, Web Services, Unit Testing and build tools.

· Strongunderstanding of web-based programming languages

· Richobject-oriented design and analysis skills

· Refactorexisting codebase and in understanding existing implementations to decide to refactor or rewrite.

· Believesin Agile development and are comfortable with SCRUM process.

· Focuseson test driven development and automation.

· Experienceusing industry standard software development tools (IDE / Version Control / Continuous Integration)

· Experiencewith unit testing using Junit and writing functional testing.

· Goodanalytical and problem solving skills

· Experienceapplying software design patterns, data structures, algorithms.

· Intermediatelevel understanding of designing and developing data intensive applications, and architecting them for scalability and availability.
