What you'll do
Duration: 6 months + possibility of prolongation

As a working student within the SAP Global Controlling organization, you will gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and consolidation processes. You will assist with daily tasks, data management, and reporting while also contributing to team-wide process improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will explore opportunities to leverage AI and other process improvement tools to enhance team efficiency and innovation. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop a solid foundation in finance, accounting, and operational efficiency in a dynamic team environment.
- Assist the controlling team with financial reports, variance analyses, reconciliations, and month-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Gather, validate, and organize data for reporting cycles (monthly, quarterly, annual) and maintain consistency across systems.
- Collaborate on process improvement projects, including researching best practices, documenting updates, and proposing solutions using AI and automation tools.
- Explore and implement AI-driven tools to optimize reporting, automate repetitive tasks, and improve data accuracy.
- Contribute to team efficiency by generating actionable reports, supporting decision-making, and maintaining organized records.
- Work closely with team members, participating in meetings, providing updates, and ensuring effective communication to align on objectives.

- Currently enrolled in an active, full-time degree program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI tools and automation technologies is highly desirable.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a dynamic team environment.
