Takes a General Manager’s view to the program assuming ownership acrossmultiple functions and phases of the NPI process, including but not restrictedto:
Uses a Line-management focusto drive the right engineering results, and achieve readiness for commercial launch,with the right metrics and tools that provide high predictability and qualityto stakeholders and senior execs alike.
Risk Management: On time identification of risksalong with mitigation, contingency. Regular tracking and management of risks.
Able to understand the Finance reports, analysis and take appropriate actions
Transformation to Agile, CI/CD, DevOps,and standardization of practices with appropriate tools / dashboards / metrics(effort, schedule, cost, revenue, defects)
Phase gate compliance, revenue Say / Do, andcontinuous improvement of cycle time
Solid understanding of engineering (Software, Electrical, Mechanical) life cyclemodels. Exposure to Cloud, IOT, Data analytics, UI Technologies, EmbeddedFirmware. Control Systems domain knowledge preferable
Effectively builds partnering relationshipswith 3rd party ODMs/OEMs, Vendor evaluation, interface and management whererequired Proficient in negotiation and influencing in a global setup; presents theproblem and solution eloquently to help arrive at stakeholder consensus Agile : Expert on Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum / SAFe), CI/CD, DevOps; catalyst intransforming organizational culture to bring in agility & predictability indelivery Plans and executes with project managementprinciples / practices; drives estimation, dependencies, milestones andintegration goals
Follows a structured problem solving approach;demonstrates agility and alacrity in execution and decisions

PMP / IPMA / PRINCE / PMI-ACP / CSM / CSPO
