As a Machine Operator Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in our Industrial Automation (IA) business unit. You will be accountable for operating and maintaining machines in our manufacturing facility in Freeport, IL. Your attention to detail and dedication to quality will ensure the smooth and efficient production of our products.

You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you'll work out of our Freeport, IL.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing operations by operating machines and ensuring they are running smoothly. You will also contribute to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

The annual pay for this role is $21/Hr- $22.50/Hr.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate assigned equipment.
• Perform a variety of Machine Injection and Compression Press processes which will result in electrical safety products.
• Mold Components into finished products.
• Support the Honeywell Operating System
• Maintain work area for operation and cleanliness
• Comply with all safety rules.
• Record and report production data.
• Analyze data and production reports
• Set up and change over equipment

YOU MUST HAVE

• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Strong manual dexterity and good eye hand coordination required
• Able to perform well defined visual procedures and processes often following written documentation or visual aids
• Ability to use, after training, various injection, and compression machines.
• Hand trim parts and at times, measurement gages to verify or discern the quality of product being produced on automatic/manual equipment.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time.
