As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will engage in functional testing, end-to-end testing, and automation implementation, ensuring a seamless and high-quality production release as PayPal expands into new markets.
Job Description:
As a Quality Engineer Intern, you will be automating tests for internal and external client facing applications.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the creation and refinement of Agile, Story based requirements
- Ensure that testing requirements are fully captured in acceptance criteria
- Design, document, and build test automation so there is broad functional test coverage
- Work with project stakeholders and developers to ensure that all aspects of the system have proper testing coverage and overall system reliability, performance and quality
- Ensure that all test cases are clearly documented and well-structured to enable swift execution and easy maintenance by other members of the Engineering team
Requirements:
- This is a 6 months full-time internship starting on 18 May 2026
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields, graduating between end 2026 to mid 2027
- Experience in writing, executing and monitoring automated test suites using a variety of test automation tools, such as TestNG, Selenium, Robot Framework, JMeter etc.
- Experience in programming with OO languages (Java, Python) and shell scripting languages (Unix shell scripts, Windows PowerShell)
- Good coding skills and discipline
- Experience in testing SQL database code and validating large datasets
