You will be accountable for the following tasks including but not limited to:

• Provide Leadership on the FEED and detail design workstream for TSOs (50Hertz, Amprion, Tennet, TransnetBW)

• Ensure adequate quality assurance and delivery of FEED, Detailed design and bids for the substation up to 380kV.

• Ensure adequate resources and training of resources for the purposes of delivering FEED and detailed design work.

• Review the HV plant aspects of different projects including HV layouts, earthing design and reports, mechanical interlocking, HV busbar calculations and technical specification for the HV plant equipment.

• Coordination with back-office engineers, sub-contractors and suppliers as required.

• Proven record of ability to manage tender packages as tender manager and doing HV plant aspects of technical offers.

• Ability to attend and chair the design review and Hazard review meetings and reviewing HV plant design packages as required.

• Attending site visits, FAT and SAT as required.

• Strong communication skills along with teamworking attributes.

• Customer focused when dealing with customers, identifying their needs along with business development skills.

Das bringst Du mit

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience.

• State-Certified Engineer or Chartered Engineer through the IET or equivalent

• Track record of leading teams in the delivery of Front-End Engineering and design or Detailed design of EHV (150kV upwards) substation projects.

• Minimum 12 years of experience working for a client organisation such as transmission system owner/operator, distribution network operator or a design consultancy delivering to such organisation.

• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Maintain existing and develop new client relationships.

• Experience in coaching and developing junior engineers.

• Flexibility to travel to client sites when required.

• Capability to work under tight deadlines while achieving objectives with the ability to deal with competing priorities and manage time appropriately.
