Our National Tax Department (NTD) serves high-profile, national and multinational clients, providing a range of domestic and international transactional tax planning services and tax-related advisory services. Your key responsibilities
Skills and attributes for success
· Identifying and answering complex domestic and international tax issues
· Providing technical tax advice and planning services to a portfolio of projects
· Transactional experience and foreign tax currency exposure
· Building long-lasting relationships with our clients, developing your understanding of their unique needs and requirements· Constantly developing your own knowledge, maintaining your status as a trusted advisor by monitoring emerging trends, technologies and practicesTo qualify for the role you must have
· A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field) and/or a Juris Doctorate in Law
· A US state CPA license (or similar non-US license that can be transferred) or state bar membership
· The ability to communicate complex tax and industry concepts to clients through exceptional writing and speaking skills
· Confidence in your ability to prioritize when working on multiple complex projects
· The ability to collaboratively work with others as part of a high-performing team
· Minimum of 7 years of work experience in professional services or professional tax organization
· Excellent managerial, leadership, organizational, and verbal communication skills
· Demonstrated business development skills and experienceIdeally, you'll also have
· A proven record in a professional services environment
· Experience in coaching and mentoring junior colleagues
· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $158,600 to $362,400. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $190,300 to $411,800. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
